The Center for Women's Cardiovascular Health at Columbia is a unique program focusing on heart health across the life span of women.
We offer comprehensive prevention programs designed to prevent and reduce a woman’s risk of heart disease, the number one leading cause of death among US women. For women who have already developed heart disease, we provide advanced subspecialty care from a team of women’s health experts, focusing on the unique aspects of heart disease manifestations in women, and how factors such as pregnancy and menopause may complicate heart health.
The Center for Women's Cardiovascular Health addresses women’s heart health by providing the highest level of medical care as well as by advancing research in the field and educating women and health providers about the novel aspects of cardiovascular disease in women.
