Jonathan Ginns earned his MBBS degree from the University of Queensland, Australia. He began his internship and residency training at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and continued to complete his cardiology and congenital heart disease fellowship at the Prince Charles Hospital. Subsequently, he came to the United and pursued an interventional cardiology fellowship at Bridgeport Hospital, Yale – New Haven and an adult congenital heart disease fellowship at NYPH – CUMC. Dr. Ginns was a full time faculty at Columbia University for seven years specializing in treating congenital heart disease patients prior to joining us. At Weill Cornell, he will serve as Associate Director of Adult Congenital Heart Diseases and Director of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. He will be working with Dr. Harsimran Singh and Dr. Bruce Lerman to expand Division of Cardiology’s programs in ACHD and HCM.
