Jared Kushner, MD

Dr. Kushner originally hails from New Orleans, Louisiana, where he lived until beginning his undergraduate studies at Columbia College. He then attended medical school at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed his internal medicine residency and cardiovascular fellowship training at New York Presbyterian Hospital - Columbia University Medical Center. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Kushner is a translational scientist. His research focuses on how ion channel function in the heart and blood vessels contributes to or exacerbates cardiovascular disease, and how modifying ion channel function can lead to new treatments for patients with heart disease.
