The Seymour, Paul and Gloria Milstein Division of Cardiology stands at the forefront of many of the latest advances in cardiovascular medicine and surgery, pushing the boundaries of the field with over 180 currently active clinical trials. Each year, our physician-scientists receive more than $15 million to fund their medical research, which spans the continuum from basic bench science, to translational research, to clinical investigations and trials that bring new discoveries to the bedside.

We have broken down old barriers between divisions and disciplines, and are conducting a wide array of multidisciplinary research in collaboration with other departments and schools including the Schools of Pharmacology and Engineering, and the Mailman School of Public Health.
